Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the Zotley platform. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Messaging and Communication Rules
You MUST:
- Obtain explicit opt-in consent before sending any SMS or email to customers
- Include opt-out instructions in every message
- Honor opt-out requests immediately
- Comply with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CTIA guidelines, and all applicable messaging regulations
- Only send transactional and service-related messages through the Platform
You MUST NOT:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam)
- Send messages to purchased or rented phone number lists
- Send messages without prior consent
- Send messages outside reasonable business hours (before 8 AM or after 9 PM recipient local time) without explicit permission
- Use deceptive sender identification
- Send messages with illegal, harmful, or misleading content
- Exceed reasonable messaging volumes (we may throttle accounts sending more than 500 messages per day without prior approval)
2. Platform Use Rules
You MUST NOT:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform by automated means
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Platform or any of its features
- Share login credentials with unauthorized users
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
- Use the Platform to store or transmit malware
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Platform to violate any local, state, national, or international law
3. AI Feature Rules
You MUST NOT:
- Use the AI agent to generate illegal, harmful, or harassing content
- Rely on AI outputs for legal, medical, or financial advice without independent verification
- Attempt to manipulate or exploit the AI system
- Use AI features to generate spam or bulk content
4. Data and Privacy Rules
You MUST:
- Comply with all applicable data protection laws when collecting and managing customer data
- Have a lawful basis for storing customer personal information
- Respond to customer data access or deletion requests in a timely manner
You MUST NOT:
- Store sensitive data (SSN, medical records, etc.) in Zotley unless specifically permitted
- Use customer data for purposes beyond the service relationship
- Share customer data outside the Platform without customer consent
5. Payment Rules
You MUST NOT:
- Process fraudulent charges
- Use the payment system for money laundering or illegal transactions
- Dispute legitimate Zotley subscription charges
6. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Warning and request to remedy the violation
- Temporary suspension of messaging features
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of account
- Reporting to law enforcement if applicable
We will provide reasonable notice and opportunity to remedy violations when possible. Severe violations (illegal activity, fraud, mass spam) may result in immediate termination without notice.
