When a crew member marks a job complete in the Zotley app, the invoice generates automatically — with line items from the linked quote, deposit already applied, and due date set to 30 days out. Auto-created on job completion
The moment any job is marked complete, Zotley creates a draft invoice with all line items from the linked quote. No manual invoice creation required.
Deposit carry-over
If the customer paid a deposit on the quote, that amount auto-applies to the invoice. The invoice shows the remaining balance due — Stripe only charges that amount.
30-day due date auto-set
Due dates default to 30 days from invoice creation. You can adjust per invoice. Due dates feed directly into the dashboard aging report.
Status tracking end-to-end
Draft → sent → viewed → paid. 'Viewed' updates automatically when the customer opens the invoice link. You never have to ask 'did they see it?'
