If they paid a deposit when approving the quote, that amount is already applied — they're only charged the remaining balance. You can also record cash, check, or any other payment method manually. No chasing, no waiting on checks to clear.
What’s included
Online card payment via Stripe
Customers click the pay link in their invoice email and pay by card. Requires your Stripe Connect account. Payment confirmation updates the invoice status in real time.
Deposit carry-over — balance only
If the customer paid a deposit at quote approval, it auto-applies to the invoice. Stripe only charges the remaining balance. A $500 job with a $100 deposit = $400 charged.
Manual payment recording
Accept cash, check, Venmo, or anything else — record the payment manually in one click with your choice of payment method.
Real-time payment confirmation
Stripe's webhook confirms payment and updates the invoice to 'paid' in real time. No manual reconciliation. Your dashboard reflects the payment immediately.
Customer sees balance due clearly
The invoice pay page shows the original total, any deposit applied, and the balance due — clearly labeled. Customers know exactly what they're paying.
Deposit collection at quote stage
Set a required deposit on any quote. The customer pays by card to approve — locking in the job and committing the payment before work begins.
